About the Dayton Canoe Club
What a great joy the Dayton Canoe Club has been for many families for so many years.
The Dayton Canoe Club is an active private membership club. It promotes the enjoyment of paddlesports such as canoeing, kayaking, stand-up paddleboarding, and rafting. The club also fosters friendships through many active outdoor activities and social events.
Members enjoy the Prairie-Style Clubhouse, completed in 1913. The clubhouse offers amenities like a ballroom, kitchen, and lounge with a fireplace. It also includes canoe and kayak lockers right at the edge of the river.
Outdoor activities include paddling, of course, as well as hiking and camping. Many social events include an annual Regatta and ballroom dances. They also feature special picnics, brunches, and dinners. Enjoy pool games, card playing, and cookouts. There’s fishing, air rifle competitions, and so much more!
It’s a place to make lifelong friendships.
